Each room will have a full bath, coffee bar with Microwave and compact refrigerator, built in wardrobes and desk. The First floor will have a central Day Room with covered entrances. From the Day Room the men will access a landscaped parking area at the main entrance side and a landscaped and fenced Linear Courtyard on the other. The facility will accommodate a minimum of 128 men or 64 efficiency units. The building will have state of art life safety and fire protection sprinkler systems. The estimated total area of the building will be about 26,000 SF.
A project goal is to achieve LEED Certification through the use of energy efficient appliances, lighting, heating / cooling systems and insulation. Low-emitting materials, adhesives and paints will also be used. Native landscaping, local shade trees, pervious paving systems and storm water detention will enhance the exterior spaces adjacent to the building.
